My name is Martin and I am a graphic designer. Currently, I am living and working in Cork City where I get a great kick in seeing my work pop up in the wild!

 

As a designer, I have a strong print foundation as well as the technical know-how to produce assets for websites/social channels and more. You name it, I'll design for it.

 

Software wise, I use Adobe. Primarily, InDesign, illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and After Effects. For the more data and content management tasks I use Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It all depends on what the job is and if there are technical ways of cutting down on repetitive/time-consuming tasks; I use them.

 

From my experience working with others on countless projects I would say my softer skills are, problem solving, working as a team player, communicating, listening and generally being a nice work colleague.

 

My aim/love as a designer is figuring out how something works and seeing if I can make it better for whoever is using it. Making things look cool also helps.
